Kerlon might not the most well known footballer, but he's definitely one of the best. He is a prodigy, there is no other way of putting it. He invented the "Seal Dribble" (watch the video) and he really is talented. I didn't realise how much until I saw clips of him on Youtube. He is know 22, which is still pretty young and the reason he isn't more well known is because he has been plagued by injuries big time.
Chievo signed him in 2008 but he only made 4 appearances before moving to to Inter. He was plagued by a knee injury and did not make an appearance before he was loaned out to Ajax last season. Amazingly, and unfortunately, he was again victim of a knee injury and only managed a few appearances for the Ajax youth team, Jong Ajax. He's now back at Inter but again on the sidelines for a few months because of an ankle injury.
It really is sad to see such a promising and brilliant player plagued by injuries, especially at such a young age. If his injury problems are sorted out, he is one of the best in the world, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.
National team wise he is inevitably Brazilian and has only managed 1 game for the under 20s which is actually quite sad. Anyway enjoy the skills of this prodigy, and my advice to any club with good medical staff is BUY HIM NOW!!!
