Who can stop this man? Is the greatest of all time? Usain Bolt has done it again by winning the 200m in Daegu easily in a time of 19.40 seconds. He recovered well from his previous false start in the 100m, forgot about it, did things as usual, showing great mental strength. So, what next for Bolt?
The answer to that would probably be destroying everybody at the Olympics, then retiring. He says he wants to play for Man Utd. Imagine all the Premier League defenders trying in vain to catch up with him. Scary sight. But Usain Bolt is still a sprinter, for now, and it is also worth noting that the second and third best 100m sprinters were not present at the World Championships: Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay.
Come the Olympics in 2012, they should be there to challenge him. I really like Asafa Powell, he is capable of running some really fast times. his PB is 9.72. He could be beat Bolt, but Powell has to be at his best and Bolt more a less at his worst. Tyson Gay I don't think will be able to beat the big Jamaican, regardless of the circumstances. For me, Powell is just that bit better than Gay, and that's why I think the former can beat Bolt, but not the latter.
Another potential long shot to cause Bolt trouble could be the Frenchman Christophe Lemaitre. He is getting better every time he runs, and in the 200m, he pulverised the French record (was 20.10, Lemaitre's time was 19.80). I think it's fairly obvious that he won't win, but he could turn some heads and get a silver.
