Why England will not win the Euro

England last night were pretty dismal, yet somehow won against Wales. I do not support England anymore, as I think they are really a long way from fielding a team that can compete with the likes of Holland, Spain and others. Fabio Capello I feel has lost it ever since the World Cup. He's playing players who in my opinion are not up to it and something really has to change.

You look at Spain's midfield. Xavi, Iniesta and Fabregas. You look at England's midfield last night. Milner, Lampard and Barry. It's the best joke of the year. How people can think that they really stand a chance at the Euro is crazy.

The problem is that English clubs do not put enough emphasis on developing young players. This has been said millions of times by millions of people, but it's true. Look at Barcelona. They very rarely sign non-spanish players. They sign Spanish stars like David Villa or Fabregas and they take players from their academy.

Instead of spending the millions on foreign stars who are not that good, why don't Man City or other big money English teams spend it on a great ENGLISH youth academy. Barcelona did that and look where they are now. Real Madrid did not really do that and look what's happened: in thew time that the Galactios were winning everything short term, Barcelona through to invest in La Masia so that they could have long term success.

The moment clubs invest in developing young ENGLISH talent (it's no good developing young foreign players) within 5 years or so the English national team will start to look good, and that's when I will start to support them again. But before then, no chance I will support them.
