In 24 hours, the Champions League anthem will sound again for the first time in 5 months, and I'm really excited. It's more open than ever this year, so I thought I'd make this post just to take a look at the 3 main contenders!
Chelsea: I hate to say it, but they are undoubtedly the best English club at the moment. They have won god knows how many games on the trot, and in Ancelotti, they've got a fantastic manager with experience. However at European level they haven't been successful and I really doubt if they will ever win the Champions League. But you never know...
Real Madrid: They've got the best individual talent in the world, and the best manager, but ban they bond together as a team? I don't think so. Not this season anyway. Maybe if they stop buying players and try and form a proper team spirit they can do something but not now. But they will still do well this year.
Barcelona: The best team in the world, I think they will win the Champions League this year. Messi, and now Villa, they will be unstoppable. Not much else really to say.
