By the way, this was supposed to be an unboxing of a PSP accessory I got today. I figured it was going to be too boring, so I scrapped the unboxing. I will do a review of it this week, with pictures not only of it, but also of my new desk setup.
Seriously, who likes cables? Luckily my house is not like the picture above but it's pretty bad. I've tried to make it better of course, but then you just go out and buy more friggin stuff and the cables are never ending. This post is just to release my anger on the subject, so expect nothing positive.
Over the past hour or two, I have been trying to reorganise my desk a little, so it's less crowded. That was when I realised that it wasn't just the case of being slightly too crowded, it really was bad. Pens lying around the place, no pots at all to put them in, and more importantly, the topic of this post CABLES IN A BIG MESS ON THE FLOOR.
Now I thought that dealing with them would be pretty straight forward. Just get a few cable ties and get done with. But no, of course it wasn't that simple. Even the world's strongest man couldn't pull them tight with bare hands and even with the help of pliers they were real buggers to fully close if I may say so.
I have made the situation better but it's still not perfect and I really hope that before I die, I will be able to see a world with no cables. Even the power supply I want wireless.
At the same time, I'm pretty sure that's never going to happen. Everybody will be more interested in bringing out new MP3s, iPods, you name it than working on trying to untangle the world from cables. Still, you never know...
