Ed Miliband got elected as leader of the Labour Party yesterday by the skin of his teeth. I'm not Labour, I'm somewhere between Conservative and UKIP, but I still had a vague interest as to who was going to chosen. Ed's victory, to some people is slightly surprising, many people thinking that David would get it. It was very close. I think it was about 50% to 49%, rounding it up, so this shows in my opinion, that Labour should really be thinking about a Miliband coalition!
The last thing I want to mention is that, in his speech, he kept thanking everyone, including his opponents in the election. I'm sorry but they can't be genuine thank yous. If they were, what he would be saying would be, thank you for trying to stop me from becoming Labour Party Leader, I almost wasn't in fact because of you. It's just stupid.
